SOCCER PARENTS:
This year we have made Spring Soccer seperate from Fall Soccer, with new teams. Registration to play spring soccer is required.
Coaches will receive their rosters the last week of March, with practices the first two weeks of April. Games will be in April and May, with the majority of games on Saturday mornings.
You should be hearing from your coaches the last week of March.

SPRING SOCCER REGISTRATION
If your child is currently in Kindergarten through 4th Grade, and wish to play in the spring Optimist Soccer league, they must complete and submit a new registration. The fall and soccer league are two seperate seasons (except for grades 5th - 8th, which play in the CSC). Please note that your child MUST be in Kindegarten through 4th grade to play in the spring season.
NOTE: Forms MUST be submitted by February 26th, 2010, to be eligible to play. Late registrations will be accepted only when spots are vacant on a team.

The Ashland Optimist Club organizes recreational/instructional programs for T-ball, baseball, softball, soccer and basketball. In all of our sports programs we stress fun, learning and sportsmanship. In order to achieve this we have adopted the following rules for players, coaches and fans on and around the field of play.
OPTIMIST YOUTH SPORTS RULES The Ashland Optimist Club is committed to providing a safe, positive and healthy environment to participants in our programs. As such, we require that the following rules be respected: No alcohol or tobacco allowed on the fields; No firearms or weapons allowed on the fields; No pets allowed on the fields during practices and games; No foul language allowed on the fields; No disrespectful language or yelling at game officials; No unsportsmanlike-like conduct allowed on the field; No closer than 5 ft. to the field by fans watching games; No trash left on the field by participants; No unauthorized use of fields or facilities;
No unattended children and/or improper playing with equipment. Persons not complying with these rules will be warned or asked to leave the private property of the Ashland Optimist Club. Persons refusing to leave will be charged with trespass and/or additional appropriate charges.
