The Ashland Optimist Club organizes recreational/instructional programs for T-ball, baseball, softball, soccer and basketball.In all of our sports programs we stress fun, learning and sportsmanship.Inorder to achieve this we have adopted the following rules for players, coaches and fans on and around the field of play.
OPTIMIST YOUTH SPORTS RULES The Ashland Optimist Club is committed to providing a safe, positive and healthy environment to participants in our programs. As such, we require that the following rules be respected:
No alcohol or tobacco allowed on the fields; No firearms or weapons allowed on the fields; No pets allowed on the fields during practices and games; No foul language allowed on the fields; No disrespectful language or yelling at game officials; No unsportsmanlike-like conduct allowed on the field; No closer than 5 ft. to the field by fans watching games; No trash left on the field by participants; No unauthorized use of fields or facilities;
No unattended children and/or improper playing with equipment.
Persons not complying with these rules will be warned or asked to leave the private property of the Ashland Optimist Club. Persons refusing to leave will be charged with trespass and/or additional appropriate charges.
